About Julie-anne

Julie-Anne is an artist who has resided on a Vineyard  

in McLaren Vale Wine Region for the past 22 years. 

It is on this property that she started her work, 

with a focus on painting with a country vibe. 

She draws inspiration from her surroundings and

expresses what she sees from the 

local wild life and landscape.

Julie-anne aims to capture the moment using 

bright colours contrasted with pastel blends, 

drawing focus with free flowing strokes using 

mostly acrylic paints with touches of charcoal.

The passion has come 

from her heart and it has been quite a 

wonderful learning curve 

 experimenting with varioius tools such as  different 

shaped pallet knives and brushes. 

Often she uses her finger tips to grow and 

develop her own individual style.. 

In fact it has come down to using whatever is needed  

to help bring her paintings alive.
